VIRTUAL REALITY IN EDUCATION |
Virtual reality is a technology that can be applied in any field, indicating experts in the field
of pedagogy the possible benefits in the teaching-learning procedure through the use of virtual reality,
as the application of Information and communication technologies (ICT).
It is considered that, in a short period of time the precursor organizations of virtual education
will find in virtual reality an effective tool, with which to improve the teaching-learning process.
Virtual reality is a technology especially suitable for teaching, due to its ease to capture
the attention of students through their immersion in virtual worlds related to the different branches
of knowledge, which can help in learning the contents of any subject . In addition, in accordance with
the ninth objective set out in Annex II of the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity,
we must use all kinds of tools in order to educate in this digital society and thereby reinforcing the
